I just had the shaft retapered at the South West Cues shop to match the OB-1 shaft taper. The shaft has the olivewood insert that Ned Morris uses to keep the shaft tight for many years to come.
Total width of the natural phenolic joint collar with shaft screwed to butt is 1/4 inch. Everything is straight, no dings, no rubs, no bluing. Great hit and a unique look at a very affordable price.
Beautiful tulipwood butt with fancy ring work looks even better in person.
