Need a little help here...

I'm flying out of Atlanta Hartsfield Airport tomorrow afternoon and Delta messed up my last name. I don't want to get harassed at the check-in counter because my name on my licence is different than on my ticket, so if anyone here works for Delta (or knows someone who does) and could fix this for me, please email me at sweetmarissa@gmail.com.

To make this pool related, I'm bringing my new Jacoby. For those of you on my friends list at MySpace, I think I've posted two or three bulletins with pictures and details already.

Wow....if this works durring an elevated RED state then our Homeland Security isn't worth jack. For the benifit of America I hope that they detain you at the gate, do a full body search, and then make you re-book with the correct name and the current day's flight prices. Keep us informed.

Oh, BTW....you can get a hard golf bag at any local sporting goods store.
 
Is it still called Hartsfield? I thought they renamed it. Who knows?

I did a job for a Delta Pilot. He's an exF-16 figher pilot. He had flashbacks everytime we watched his videos from Iraq. Honestly I'd be scared to fly with him. Unless we were Hijacked then I'd be happy to of had him.

Shouldn't you be able to call up Delta and tell them of the mistake? However that's probably like dealing with a government agency. So hopefully it works out.

On the other hand. As long as your full name isn't Marissa Akbar, Marissa Muhomoud, or Marrisa Jihad. I think you'll be ok.
 
Geez Marissa,

This seems to happen to you a lot :confused: This is not the first time an airline has messed up your last name...

Just a suggestion... Maybe you should not change your name as much, then this might not happen to you.;)
 
Update:

Delta was very understanding when I showed them identification with both last names and had no trouble at all in Atlanta or Akron. (For those of you who don't know, I have a Korean and American last name and the airline only had the Korean last name on the ticket.) As for my cue, I actually found a hard plastic gun case that my case fit in securely. I only shot with it Friday night, though, as Saturday was spent shopping, painting, and I craftfully assembled an étagère for the bathroom. (Of course, I had to take it apart and reassemble it when I saw I attached the top part upside down. And the cabinet doors on it had to be straightened out. Other than that, I did great.)

The only thing that sucked was seeing the lady next to me with her two tennis racquets while my cues were being tossed around in the cargo hold. Apparently, blunt objects that you can swing are allowed to be carried on an aircraft while makeshift javelins that would require a running start to impale someone are not.
 
I heard that some airlines will let you carry them on if get it preapproved....
