Need a nice piece of mesquite!

I am trying to have Chuck build me a mesquite cue, but we're both having difficulty finding a nice piece of mesquite at or near 1.5"x1.5"x30". I know some makers guard their sources like a treasure hoard, but if anybody can spare a piece I would compensate you and be eternally grateful :joyful:

I got lots of mesquite, but nothing near 30" long. Check with Gilmer Wood online. They have a load of mesquite lumber right now, and in their new unique boards pages you'll find figured boards scattered throughout, some may be 30" plus if I recall correctly.
 
We're going to try some mesquite burl. I shotgunned 13 different companies last night asking for mesquite, and one of them responded within 2 minutes. He continued to respond within 2 minutes today, so we put two pieces on order. He didn't have any on hand but one of his suppliers apparently could get him some soon.

If they don't turn out for some reason I'll revive this thread.
