Need a shaft for a Mali

Ok Boys and Girls, this forum seems to have the most informed and resourceful pool people on the planet. So here's my dilemma. I've got an older Mali that I bought off Ebay a few years back. The butt only was refinished by Proficient prior to the sale and I've wondered ever since why some one would not refinish the shaft at the same time [unless it was perfect and it wasn't].
Now I'm not the most observant person in the world, and not until I was taking some pictures of it in preparation to selling it did I finally notice the stitching in ring on the shaft did not match the cue. It's obviously, now that I see it, not the right shaft. :o :o
So, I need a shaft. Can anyone out there lead me to one??? Here is a picture that shows the obvious difference.

In no way am I trying to be offensive, but you might consider that the resale value of a used Mali may not be high enough to sink more money into it.

A quick search on ebay turned up this auction for an older Mali with the highest bid that ends in 7 hours. $75 and only 1 bid is not a strong seller. If you really want to match it, watch ebay until one shows up or contact Mali. My guess is you will end up paying over half what the cue will bring sold as is.

check with Bamacue Joe he might have something in stock for you.
check with Waldo's Jimmy also.

I guess I've been a little misleading. I'm not selling the cue anymore. I'm just looking for a shaft that matches the cue. Don

What are you looking to spend on a new shaft to match?

Edited to add:

Why don't you just have the collar changed by a cue maker?

Well, what I would like is an original,if possible. If I need one built Jack Madden lives just down the road. I'm fishing to see what might turn up. A new one would probably go $100 or more. Don
