Need Advice on ebay Sale

As most of you know, I recently auctioned a Hercek on ebay. The winning bidder informed me after the auction ended that their PayPal account was "frozen" due to a different disputed auction. In the same email they offered to pay my ebay fees as compensation (my term). Since then I have heard nothing despite repeated emails.

I don't think negative feedback is worth anything because they have their feedback private. Mine is public and at 100%, so I feel that any "peeing" contest of negative feedbacks will only result in me coming out worse than them.

I made the decision not to offer a second chance to the next bidder because I have an amount in mind below which I don't think I should sell the cue. I don't think they are going down in value. Hopefully, anyway.

Any ideas besides writing it off to experience and learning about bidders with private feedback of less than 100%? Thanks.

You can report the transaction to Ebay and get your fees back. Then it's up to you whether or not to relist the item?

We've all had buyers who couldn't pay (for whatever reason). Not much else you can do.

Good luck,

sherwin

I would let the buyer know that you will post his name as a deadbeat in this and every other pool forum thats out there.

It is a old song

Report it get your fees back an most oviouslyHOW MUCH FOR THE CUE FOR ANY OF US GREAT AZERS HIS LOSS MIGHT BE SOMEONE ELSES GAIN. With a big show coming up you might want to wait till it is over to sell a great cue like that. Seems everyone in the know is pumping up right now. Good Luck Nick

Thanks, guys. I need to read all the ebay legalese better, because I didn't know I could get the fees refunded. I will follow that route.

My id is quemart and I have had deadbeat bidder's and went ahead and left negative feedback and dont care about that 100 percent anymore, people are going to know who have dealed with me that I'm not the problem and I feel that these jerks who think that they can get away with it if they threaten to leave me neg feedback need to be exposed. It's not fair that ebay even lets them leave feedback after they refuse to pay or back out of a deal.JMO.My motto is now if they want to phuck with me on ebay there gona get phucked with too.:D

Doctor,
Man do I agree with that. A shame when you get burned with a dead beater
and then if you leave the appropriate feedback, ebay let's them retaliate the negative feedback. This procedure should certainly be looked into and amended by ebay. If the seller (or buyer), provides them with solid proof of one party's neglect or un ethical practice as it pertains to that transaction, negative feedback in return should NOT be allowed, or if allowed, should be retracted after that proof provided. Cheers buddy. (Hows that collection of your's looking???)

Why not just sell the cue to one of the other two high bidders? Were they not serious bidders? What's $1 or a hundred for that matter....either way, that's a nice sale on this cue.
