Need cloth recommendations (NOT Simonis)

Hello,

I am looking to replace the napped cloth on my 8' Legacy Pool table. I want a worsted cloth, but something affordable ($200 Canadian).

I heard good things about Championship Tour Edition, but the lowest I can find it in my area is $250. I am struggling to find information on any other brands, so what other options are out there?

EDIT: Also I should note that I am installing it myself with no previous experience

I've installed a lot of Granito. Plays nice, and stretches much easier than Simonis.

Another alternative is Championship Mercury UItra. It's not a worsted cloth, but it plays much quicker than a standard napped cloth, though not quite as fast as a worsted cloth.

I would also strongly suggest you invest in these DVDs, as they will save you a lot of time and guesswork.

Also consider this website, for other cloth alternatives and info:

Good luck!

A very nice worsted cloth under $200.00 is Championship's Pro Am.

Thanks guys, I was looking at the pro-am cloth actually.

What about ProForm? I saw some good prices from them too.

we installed pro-form on 4 of our tables this spring. Plays very well and is holding up nicely. Only 150 per table 8 ft.
