HI, EVERYONE I first came across this cue about a year and a half ago, needless to say when I found it cleaning his place out along with another cue that I will post soon, I immediately in memory of my grandfather went out to my local hall for the first time in years (I wasnt a player untill I found this cue) and played with it..2 days later I purchaced my first diecent playing cue..This has signifigant (i know i spelled that wrong) personal value to me and i have had many look at it and just are baffled about it...
I would really appreciate anyone that knows anything about old, I mean old, cues. This may have even been my grandfathers' father.. the shaft has the pin in it instead of the but having the pin it has the insert you can see...This is a 4 part cue, the butt end breaks down to 3 seperate pieces, with weights that I can mis=match with other joints, although the joint pin and the pins in the butt pieces are diffrent sizes. I have no info currently on this...I know its a good conversation piece for all of us so jump in and help me out with some faimly history,, he may have even wittled this himself, you can see the whittleing lines in the forearm grip... take a look..
