Found this in an old thread on Cue reviews some decent info on these cues

Biagio is just a brand name that is owned by one of the major billiard supply companies. The early Biagios were made by Billiard Cues of England. Later by Joss and then other Asian companies. They just kept using that private label brand name and got them made by whoever they wished. The BCE and Joss made cues were were good quality. I have no idea of the quality of the Asian made ones now. Later ones would be harder to pin point who made them, but the early ones by BCE (Billiard Cues of England) had a nylon shaft insert and a 3/8-10 thread pin. That was the first cue I ever saw built with that joint combination and they were made in the late 1980's.

BCE and Adams had a close relationship ....the nylon insert was Helmstter's idea, I was
told, so I think some Biagios were made by Adams.
I think you will find that nylon inserts were Paul Heubler's idea.
Unless of course, Dick thought of it but never used it in any cue,
and Paul used it in virtually every cue, but didn't think of it.

I forgot about Hueblers, I had an Adams and a Huebler at the same time
and both had the nylon insert.
The Huebler joint seemed more efficient...the Adams came loose.

I sold a lot of those cues. They were not bad and were cheap. Most under a $100.00 I personally would put very little value on them but who knows. Some people like to collect odd cues and cues like these are easy to collect because they are cheap. It is a poor mans collectable.
Even those old cane cues that sold for around $10.00 to $20.00 new have a small market.

Well, you can always learn... I'm not any kind of Adam expert, but I have seen several
over the years, and even retailed one or two. Never knew about any nylon inserts 'till now,

i have an older biaggio sneaky pete that i have had for 20 plus years. I was told that they were made in england as well and then bought by joss.....but who knows the truth.......that is what i was told.....oh....and by the way...it is still straight apart and together..............mike

biagio cues were sold by crystal leisure of centennial, Colorado. some, not all, were made by joss. many different models of biagio cues are out there.

I have a Biagio that I picked up of fleabay. It's gotta be 30+ yrs old and still straight. It came w/ a Crystal Leisure soft case.
I had a new LePro medium tip put on it. It actually plays really well. I also picked up a vintage catalogue for Biagio. Pretty cool.
