Need help with international shipping

anyone have experience with international shipping? I need to ship a cue to Sweden and price quotes are coming in at $200+

I've received qoutes from DHL, UPS, Fedex.

Do anyone have any suggestions? any help would be appreciated.

Global Express at the post office. Go get some plastic tubing at the hardware store and pack the cue in that. Put that into one of the their boxes and ship it. I think it's less than $50 if I am not mistaken.

Or even Priority Mail (Express gets delivered to the door while for other the recipient has to visit the post office).
Go with USPS mate, and don't forget that plastic tubing advised by JB. Bubble wrap the cue and stick into the tube, no harm should be done to the package contents after that.

Documents

If you buy off a retailer and use Express Mail® International the invoice should be all you need. Customs in Sweden may have certain dollar value limits which will be listed on their website. Tariffs and tax etc.
I use this service regularly to bring items to Australia and have had no problem...so far.
