The side rails are relay bad you can feel the clunk through the body of the table. I tightened up the rail bolts it helped but not much.
The table is pretty new. Here are some pics.
I am thinking that from being moved around that all the bolts are loose.
Can you tell when it was made from the serial #.

Thanks Rvan.

noise

you are gonna have to remove the rails and set the slate sideways on top of the table.. and check all bolts/screws/brads inside of the table holding it together are tight..move slate to other side and check that other side....remove slate buy picking up from the corner pocket openings,.its heavy.."two people are required to move the slate efficiently"....

noise

O yeah I forgot to mention if the corner casting bolts are loose it will cause a nasty noise..u can get to the bolts by removing the pocket liner..there is one on each side of each casting...I recovered a few tables at a college and the balls were getting stuck in the table from all the junk they put down the ball track so they lifted the table and droped it to get the balls unstuck this caused the bolts to come loose and few of bolts snap off in the casting..moving the tables will cause the bolts to come losse to....I have moved a few 25 year old bar tables so many times by fliping it on its side it caused the some sag in the rails so I had to support the area that supports the slate with 2x4 from the bottom to under the wood slate support...old bar tables need TLC

you don't need to remove the pocket liners to get to these bolts. Just a open end 9/16 wrench

Thanks all.
I will try to tighen up those corners.
I think that when i have it re felted i will have the tech tighten it all up.
What size Rails dose this table have?
I saw that someone has some rails but I'm not a table mechanic.

Thanks Rvan.
