I'm having a cue built and have decided on a flat face with a radial pin. I've been told that the linen resin type material "like Southwest uses" is made two ways. 1. multi layered, 2. with the linen mostly on the outer surface. But was told that they have a tendency to separate over time. I find it a little hard to believe, but your opinions please. How many people make this stuff??? I'm looking for a cue with good feed back but still a medium to medium soft hit. Also what types of materials play closest to Ivory? Also was told that Ivory is very unpredictable?? My questions are just getting started, but this is enough for now. Thanks.
