need room at VF!

i posted earlier last week to no avail, but i was wondering if anybody had an extra room or was/ is cancelling a last minute reservation. any help is appreciated. i know there are other hotels, but its a pain in the a** when you want to run up to your room and just put your cues away, or just freshen up.

I know what you mean, not to mention the parking lot, driving around, up and down, hoping to find someone pulling out of a space.

If you are unable to get a room inside the joint, the majority of which is reserved for the HUGE tournament staff as well as paying vendors for SBE, my suggestion would be to get a room up the street, as close as you can get it.

Maybe if you are lucky, one of your friends may have a room inside, and then when you need to freshen up or leave your cue case in the room so you don't have to lug it around, you could use their room for convenience.

thanks for the suggestion JAM. the only problem is that my dad actually wants to go this year, and he'll be bringing his wife. hes not that big on pool, but i think the trip to dcc this year did him in....lol. anyway, that would make 4 of us, and i dont want to impose on anyone. if it was just me i wouldnt mind. thanks for the suggestion and hopefully i see you again this year at VF.

joey as in my dads name is joe, so ive always been called joey to avoid confusion.

Down the road on the outskirts of the King of Prussia Mall, Holiday Inn Express - nice rooms, continental breakfast (that you don't get at the SBE), 260 N. Gulph Rd, King of Prussia, PA 19406 610-768-9500. Its maybe a 5 minute drive.

Eric great list, last year I did not have a room untill 2 days before the expo. There was some problems with the room reservations. I was all over the internet looking for nearby hotels and could only find 3. Luckily the scanticon came up with a room for me at the last minute.

the only issue that I am aware of that is the places on american avenue have recently had a rash of car thefts where the cars turn up the same day stripped clean. the local police are currently working very hard to fix the problem.

I'll help bump you back up too - just a thought, I know you mentioned not wanting to be offsite, but I got a room at the last minute last year at the Sheraton in Frazer, PA and it was only $50ish a night - the drive was about 15 minutes and it was a great place - very homey.
