Need some feedback

I am going to be resurfacing my table soon. I would like some feedback as to what color I should have it done in. I used my photoshop program to change the color on my table to my top 4 picks. I did it very crude, but I think you can get the general idea.

The original table is in green.

I do too. Is the tournament blue from Simonis the same color as the Tour edition 3030 from Championship?
 
I've had Blue and Green Simonis. The first blue you show looks something like "Electric Blue" which i currently have on my table.

You have to be more careful with the blue - any kind of oily smudge - even from oily hands or fingers - really shows as a dark spot and efforts to clean them with liquid cleaners will cause visible stains. It's much more subject to staining and discoloration than green for some reason.

I would say if you're careful with them, the blues really do look great in a house, plus you can use regular blue chalk.

The gray looks good but you're stuck with a specialized chalk color. The green is classic and can never be wrong for a pool table, but the color is a little out of style at the moment in home decor.

tournament blue is my vote (looks better with black imo). Maroon looks nice, too, btw.
 
I went with Olive cloth last time to match my surroundings. Next time, very soon, I will be going Tournament Blue. I have never played on a table with Tourny Blue but it seems like a lot of people/places are going that color. Is it because the color was designed to show the most contrast between the cloth and the balls? Maybe so but I like the looks of it as well. My only dilemma is 860 or 860HR. The more I hear about HR the more I sway that way. But never tried it...

It's your home, make it hot pink if you want to! IT'S YOUR TABLE! You can make it any color you want to. Why ask a bunch of people you really don't know??? I was just looking for feedback. I didn't say I was tallying score and that you fine folks were going to make the decision for me. That little bit of info I got about light blue showing dirt marks easier may sway my decision. THAT'S why I asked the question. For info. Or feedback. I see posts like yours, and I guess I just don't understand.
 
Stay with green - the blue clashes with your harvest gold linoleum in the dining room :D

I wouldn't pick cloth based on how it blends with your home. If you want artwork, get a painting. If you want to play pool, pick the color that is easiest on your eyes and helps you shoot your best.

That gray looks like it'd awful, I think it would somehow affect how you're seeing the shadows and the bottom half of the ball. Things aren't going to jump out. I also find all dark colors (including that dark blue) look bad with chalk on them. Tournament blue is very clear, you can see the balls very well on it. It seems a little bright over time though.

Somehow, green seems perfect. I don't think that happened due to tradition or coincidence. Green just works.

It's kind of funny but on blue tables, me and a lot of people can't see the 4ball. You can't believe how many times in rotation I play shape on the 5 in only to notice the 4 is still sitting near a rail or corner. There's something about that purple color and blue that acts as camo.

Don't I know it! It is god awful. I am going to change it one day. :thumbup:

My wife wants it changed, but the pool table comes first. ;)
