Need some help plz

I mistakenly got some ca on the butt of my cue and before I tried taking it off ( and scratching the hell out if it ) I was wondering if someone could tell me what to use to get it off.

Get a cue repair or cue maker to wet sand with 2000 or 2500 as to not take to much finish off, and then polish the cue again . Ca sticks to finish and is used sometimes to finish cues by cue makers. I sometimes use it to finish shafts instead of spraying finish as it can be done in 15 minutes instead of 24 hrs to let finish cure.

someone else did this a month or so ago
i've done it too:rolleyes:

i used a rag and baby oil, just rubbing it gently ,
working the edges of the spot.
now this was on a freshly buffed & polished cue,
maybe it didnt adhere as much as it would on a "used cue"
 
What kind of cue is it? Most factory cues have a UV finish that is extremely difficult, if not impossible to attain the original shine again once it has been wet sanded.

to answer your question --its a 6 yr old dale perry cue

and thanx I will get some debonder today from woodcraft and give it a try

Glad to hear, to me, it's a must have in the shop if you have superglue in it also......:D
To many times things get stuck together that shouldn't be...

I may have to get some myself. I only use CA for installing tips but I have ruined a number of cheap reading glasses from getting the glue onto my fingers and without noticing it, raised my glasses onto my forehead.
