Hi guys, as far as you do this stuff I think you are able to answer me this question: How can I remove a brand name from a cue. I mean a production one not a custom. It's on the butt sleeve, black font on white.
Let me know if it's any chance to remove it without any damage.

I think you would have to define what you call damage.
Logo's:
Sometimes just a transfer, stamp and or actually inlaid under the finish.
And of course the most important question.
Why would you want to remove someones logo??????

Mike, thanks for answer. I don't like marked cues other than a signature. So i prefer blank than shiny. That's me.
 
Af its inlaid, not worth the hassle. Or not possible.

If its a decal under the finish, its best to spin it on a lathe.

I have done a couple like this. One was an unknown maker and one was so huge, it was ugly, yet the cue was beautiful and the decal detracted from the looks.

You should have a way of finishing after you sand it off.
Just got very lightly on the butt sleeve as its spinning.

Thanks guys. Idd it's big and ugly. I like the cue but I hate the tag. Sanding was my option too. I'll spin it and try very fine sandpaper. Refinish the sleeve it's a must after that. Thanks guys appreciate your answers.
