Need to say something NICE about a cuemaker: Samsara

I just want to say that I have been a customer of Samsara Cues for many years. I have bought 2 relatively entry level cues from them. However, I just had an excellent experience. I had an issue with a cue they had made for another manufacturer. No need to go into those details here, but the point is they treated me like I had bought the cue from them. They solved my problem and returned the cue to me within a week!!

With all these threads on here about cuemakes dropping the ball and stiffing people, I felt compelled to point out a really great experience that I had.

I currently play with a really souped up version of the Bar Cue, but with awesome curley maple wrapless handle and cocobolo forearm and handle, with nice trim rings. The cue plays fantastic, so I am out of the market for the time being. I should point out that this cue was built EXACTLY the way I asked for it. Jim suggested some of the details. They made it the weight I wanted within a 10th of an ounce.

However, anyone interested in dealing with a top notch PROFESSIONAL company should seriously consider giving Jim a call at Samsara.

10/10 guys, thanks!!

I can only repeat those sentiments. Years ago I "thought" I had a vibration in my Sam (you know the one) so I sent an email to Jim, he immediatly called me to discuss and and told me to ship it to them and he'd find out what was wrong.
Turns out it was my own dumb error, I'd added a weight bolt hooked on the very last threads for the weight bolts. It came loose and was vibrating, Jim fixed it, called me up to explain it, and shipped it back at his cost without charging me a penny. Their reputation is very important to them and they stand solidly behind anything even remotely related to them.
They're good people.

BTW, congrats on getting to Vegas, good to see a non-sandbagging team make it.

I have been a rep for Samsara since 2001. Jim and Dave have always treated me very fairly, and have continually produced an unduplicatable product, winning award after award for beautiful and functional cue designs.
As I travel the country, I put my Samsara cues into the hands of 1000's of poolplayers, so that they can see what it feels like to play with a real custom cue. As a result, my cues have some nicks and dings, but I don't care. I feel it's my responsibility to put my cues into the hands of as many people as possible. Samsara really does filter to the top of the heap, time after time!
