Going to have to re-tip my Z² shaft soon. I understand that the standard tip (which I have right now) is made by Everest.
While not absolutely terrible, it does tend to glaze over quite quickly, requiring re-scuffing very often to preserve grip and feel. Also I think it's a bit hard. So, I'm in the market for a different tip (something soft).
I've heard too many bad things about Kamui to buy one of those (sorry if you're a Kamui fan). Browsing e-bay I've come across a couple of unknown (to me at least) brands that seem affordable and at least fairly appealing. I wonder if anyone here has used either:
FUJI BY LONGONI ITALY or Hirano High Quality 4 Layered Genuine Pigskin?
Also thinking about a Predator tip (although I've not yet had the chance to try one), so if you've used one of those please tell me about your experiences. Heard good things about Moori too, but never used one of those either.
I'm particularly eager to hear from other Z shaft users on this question, although of course I'll be pleased to hear your thoughts whatever cue you use.
Thanks in advance.
