Neil in Grand Rapids Mi

I agree...I started working at a pro shop when I was twelve...I had some par
rounds when I was fifteen...played scratch at sixteen.............
...because I had a boss that wouldn't give me a break....if I shot a 50 for any
nine holes, even when I was twelve....month on the practice field.

It's a damned shame the government frowns on this type of labor now. This is exactly how I grew up and it is also what kept me off the streets.

If a person was doing what he/she thought to be wrong then they wouldn't do it now would they? Yet they will argue til the cows come home that they did such and such correctly even though the result does not support their feeling.

OMG! I think I may have married such a person.

Neil: Secret of the day- today for free: Thin end to the front!

have a smooth stroke pal^^

Yeah, I finally figured that one out. Thanks for the reminder though! The other day I finally figured out that chalk thingy. One guy told me I needed to use the chalk, so I asked him "how?". He laughed and told me to rub it on the bumper end, so I did. Next thing I knew, the counter guy comes running over yelling at me to stop rubbing the chalk on the ends of the rails!??? What the heck???

lmao :P

At least you learnt more than one thing on one day! amazing somehow :P

I'm shocked. A very well known pro who posts here every once in a while (only 17 times a day) said on several occasions that Neil was merely a Virtual Pool adept and a pool physics nerd who didn't know to chalk the tip on a real cue.

Apparently, sometimes the pros are dead wrong.

Oh no, say that isn't so. LOL! I've talked to several people that have played with or seen Neil play and gotten the same consistent story, i.e., he is a VERY, VERY good pool player that knows his stuff.
