New 6 Point Tim Scruggs Cue

A couple more shots...

Just thought I would share a few more photos:

Joint protectors off...

The diamonds/inlays line up nicely with the shaft on...

Close up of ivory joint...

Points/veneers (sorry for the flash reflection)...

I don't take pictures as good as Guy does, but hopefully they still do justice to Tim and Mike's work.

Beautiful!

Wow,
Let me guess. Balanced-perfect!
Hit- sweet as honey!
Be careful not to draw the ball up your arm!.
Great Hot Rod!
Nick :)

Beautiful, very nice cue. What does it weigh, I am just curious.

Thanks

Don,
It's coming in at a shade over 19oz.
The scales I used are decent, but there is a little +/- error to them. I measured the butt section at 0.96 lb (15.36 oz) and the shaft varied between 0.23 - 0.24 lb (3.68 - 3.84 oz), for a combined weight of 19.04 - 19.2 oz. When I get a chance I will put them on the digital scale at my friendly billiard store.
For what it's worth, my other Scruggs has a combined weight of 18.8 oz.

Nick,
You said it in a nutshell... :D
I continue to be amazed at how effortlessly one can move the cue ball around with Tim and Mike's cues (sometimes less is more..., less force = more action/result) ;)

Really a beautiful job with amazing attention to detail. The way everything lines up perfectly and looks so great is the sign of a true craftsman and artist...I'm sure it now seems worth the wait....congrats

Like I have said all along, you just cant beat one of Tim's and Mike's cues, period. I love this cue. Man is it sweet. It is elegant and balanced. I can imagine how it hits since it has a similar setup as my Cochran. Oh, and if you think about it, X-mas is right around the corner and I have been a good boy this year, and it would make a nice stocking stuffer.:) Enjoy the cue as I know you already are.

I find myself ...

I find myself liking these patterns more and more and I'm gonna have to search for a cue maker to make something similar to one of these babies ... there are three or four cues in a similar pattern and make from different cue makers and I would love to own one these cues displayed on these various threads ...

Beautiful Cue and a great cue maker to boot...
