how new is "new"? I must tell I ordered pretty many 14.1 titles from Accu-Stats in the past and still didn't watch most, so I kinda got lost. When I see a DVD I'm confused whether I have it already.
Though if you didn't have it in your collection Dennis it must be "brand new" ;)

It is a brand new release. Mika played Sigel last October at the World Straight Pool Championship. The background is that earlier in the week in the round robin portion, Sigel had a big run on Mika with a questionable hit during the run. Everyone knew it was a bad hit, but Mike Sigel kept shooting. I was home in Chicago, watching on live stream and texted Jeff Mohl who I saw watching the match. "Bad hit?", I asked. "f*$#in' A!", he answered.

No ref had been called. You could tell that Mika was livid and he left the arena immediately.

Then they played a match later in the tournament and Mika got his revenge. 150 and out. I was lucky enough to be there and witness it live, with my sidekick Jeff Mohl. The original video had Danny D doing the commentary and came out around Christmas 2010. Apparently, Pat Fleming got Mika to come into the booth and they did a Player's commentary on the same match.

Never heard Mika talk about 14.1 so I think it might be cool.

I have a copy of this match but would love to hear the player review (grudge) match. Siegel was full of shit in the first match saying it wasnt a push .Watch it for yourself.I won it on the game show before Pat had a chance to make the (Player Review) and IMHO these are the best matches you can buy.Anyone can make a ball but to see these champions run hundreds and tell you what they are thinking is PRICELESS !

What were the specifics of the situation? I'm not sure what a bad hit is in straight pool. A foul, yes, but a bad hit? I'm not sure what that means.

A push.

The cue ball was too close to the object ball.

Everyone noticed it. At the end of the match, after Mika stormed out, Mike was trying to recreate the shot, telling the peanut gallery, it was a good shot.

Seigel had a shot where he was between .025" &.050 separating the CB & OB and he shot through it (Push, Double hit the CB) he was at about 20 or 30 balls into the run and continued to run out the game. i Believe it was like a 102 & Out !

Mika continued to boil over through out the run you can tell by his facial expressions throughout the match. But never once acted up about it. He acted like a true professional player that he is. and took his revenge in the later match during the tournament stage of the tourney. Where he ran the amazing 150 & Out.

Mika

Immediately after Mika's 150 and out I had the rare opportunity to go out for dinner with him, Dave Daya and another gentleman whose name escapes me, but he used to own a pool room in Maryland. I rode in the backseat to dinner with Mika and sat across from him at dinner and I can't tell you how happy he was with his performance. He was mature and professional about it, not saying anything negative about Mike, but he really was glowing. Good times.
