I just picked this up. I feel it is definitely an Adam or at least an Adam "cousin" (same manufacturer). There is no logo. The joint and bumper look Adam. 5/16x18 piloted, rounded push in bumper. The bumper is either glued or stuck from age and I am hesitating to try to pull it out to see what's under it. The bumper makes me think eighties Adam but I am no Adam expert.
I thought the points looked familiar but it turned out the cue I was thinking of was a Meucci so I hit a dead end.
Note the 3/4 ferrule as well. Perhaps it is not original? The shaft is perfect and must have been re-done I think. The black rings on the shaft are linen, but the joint rings on the cue may not be, I can't see any grain in them so they may be a plastic.
The wrap appears to be genuine leather and I think is original. The fit and finish in general on the cue is first rate. The points are even and sharp, one of the dark "veneers" around the points does not match the others so well because of a slight difference in the darkness of the wood, but it is a simple natural variation of the wood.
The forearm has nice flames, curls and birdseyes, not the best example of such maple but a very fine piece, with a mix of all those features.
