new addition to the family

I have dealty with HGR many times

And they are ok. I always pick up things myself as I live maybe 20 min from the warehouse. You might enjoy rummaging there as well, though allow several hours to do so. I have found many bargains like gun drills @.755 for $5 each! You never know what you will find there ... good luck ... Lou.

That sukker will make your jp's, collars and sleeves really fast.

That lathe looks like a project. Mine looked a lot worse than that. I disassembled the whole thing. Took the parts to my local mechanic and got them steam bathed. I dried them right away.
Took the small parts to my parts washer and washed them all day.

That lathe looks like a project.
nah!!!! dont care what it looks like. those old sheldons are like the energizer bunny

Glad you made it back OK

I enjoyed finally meeting you Brent and spending the afternoon shooting pool and the breeze, though maybe not in that order! It was also fun giving you a whirlwind tour of HGR, I think you got an idea of all the machines and tools they have in that place. It really takes most of a day to scrounge properly. Every monthly visit I make uncovers new treasures for us cue makers. Maybe we can hook up in Cincy soon? My lady wants to do a weekend shopping there with me, bye for now . . . Lou.

one of the dumber things i did in my life was barefoot waterski
they arent kidding when they say hitting the water at 52 MPH is like hitting concrete
broke 3 ribs and cracked my sternum
about the time i'd start to heal, i'd sneeze or cough and aggravate it again
probably took close to a year for me to get over that one

lesson learned: god invented water skis for a reason

Yeah let me tell ya that was every bit as fun as moving the first one. After this last experience let me give you a little advice Brent:

A) 2 people are not enough to move a lathe that ways as much as a Yugo. (thank God that guy brought a pry-bar over)

B) 2 pieces of angle iron, a piece of tin, and a couple of 2X4s are not an adequate delivery system to get the 1800lb-lathe from trailer to shop.

C) next time (gee I cant wait) check the the !@#$%^&* WEATHER REPORT!!!
