New amateur only tour

Sorry for the delay, the list will be posted soon, we are studying more than half a dozen handicap lists to be as fair as possible.

Regards,
Grace

Thanks for the heads up, I wont be able to play in Barrie at the first event but I am curious to the criteria for eligible players.

Grace,

I just sent the email, forgot my birthday (Aug. 24, 1983) I'm not a junior so I don't know if this matters.

Regards,

Shorty

Good Luck

Nice to see something like this for the youngsters comming up. Best of luck to you guys up there to the north & I sincerely hope your work here pays off Grace. Is anyone trying this in the USA with the ACS do you know? If not it would be good to see.

As long as your handicap falls under the limits we are allowing, you are eligible....age is not important, the juniors are being allowed to participate for the membership only which is $10....adults who qualify pay a yearly $20 membership and $25 entry fee for each event.

Grace

Hey Grace, can we get more info about the payout structure? I remember seeing it was going to be lower for the events and then higher for the finale?

What happens if someone wants to play but hasnt played any of the qualifying leagues or tournaments?

Does the membership fee go towards sending the Juniors to World events?

The 4 events will see all entries going back to the players, less $5.00 per player for greens fees. The $3000 added is for the finale only. You must participate in at least 1 event to qualify for the finals.

We are not affiliated with any other league or tour, just ours. However BCAPL and CSI are supporting our efforts. We gladly invite any and all players who are eligible by skill level to play!

The membership fees as well as advertising dollars go towards the juniors as always. We want to honor Scott Soroko's initial purpose in starting Shooterville, and that was to create a way to make sure that the juniors were guaranteed assistance when representing Canada at the world competition. He was the best when it came to supporting the grassroots level of our sport, and was always ready to help out those in need.

Hope this answers your questions, if you have anymore, please contact us at jaccs.td@gmail.com

Sincerely,
Grace

What if the person hasnt played in any of the leagues or tournaments you are gathering information from? Are they automatically eligible? How will these people know they are eligible? Just email and ask?

The most important thing for JACCS is to protect ALL THE PLAYERS of the Diamond A Tour.

So, if you are a player that has never played in a League or Tournament event you need to go to a local pool room and introduce yourself to someone who can judge your ability. Or, maybe you know someone that is known to the Pool community. Then, contact us and let us know who you are and who you talked to.

Contact us at jaccs.td@gmail.com and give us this info

Note: If you misrepresent yourself or someone else misrepresents you, then you and that person will be removed from the Tour and all money will be forfeited.

Hope to see you all at Dakota Sports Bar of Barrie this weekend
October 2nd and 3rd.

Have a great week....

Tom Cacic - Tournament Director
