Pretty good so far Ray - but I'd like to think the AZ billiard community can do better.
It takes some work but I think we are at about $2030.00 for this fundraiser to date. (Only about $498,000.00 less than the lady who got harassed on the bus and needed a vacation.
) We need a viral video and a news story!!The residual damage from something like this is something that most of us know nothing about and hopefully never will. It will take a lot of time and support for her recovery.

That is probably about right. I've actually received about $2900 with the auctions & also just with donations that people have been kind enough to send to my paypal account directly without wanting anything. I even got a $200 donation from someone that I never met (not sure if he wants me to call his name out on here, so I'll just say thank you Charles and leave his last name off)--thank you so much. I really, really appreciate all the help and support.
Ray, I appreciate you getting these auctions going for me, and a big thank you to the people who donated items and bid and were willing to help me out. I'm sending out my first round of checks to the 20 different hospital bills I have tomorrow, and this will help me out so much taking care of that while I'm looking for a new job and a new place to stay. You guys don't even know how much it means to me.

It has given me great joy to do something to help Amanda Townsend.
There are some here, on AZ and in life, who ridicule those who give openly. I say it's ok to give openly and it's ok to give privately. One way or the other, it's a beautiful thing. The only thing that would be a travesty is... if you never discovered the joy of giving.
To ALL the givers in our midst. You know who you are. You guys are the ones who make pool seem more like family to me. I love you guys.
Amanda, Lisa, Kevin, Robley and the many other here that have had AZ and the pool community touch their lives, I KNOW personally that it made a diffference.
