Whats your opinion on the new Balabushka and Adams and Helmstetter. I think they are all made in the same plant in Japan except the low end cue which is made in China. I've never shot with one ????? Thanks for the replies

Then throw away most of your clothes especially your sneakers, your television, DVD Player, Playstation or Nintendo, MP3 Player etc because they were made outside the USA...and just in case you want to type a reply to my post then keep in mind that your computer was also produced also in Asia :rolleyes:

Yes sir, I have play with one. He asked for a opinion so I gave my opinion. We should open our eyes and try to buy things made in the U.S before it is to late!

I own one.

It seems to be excellent craftsmenship , everything sits flush , not one imperfection.

The hit is very solid, I really tend to pull it out and use it more than my Lucasi Hybrid (which has a LD shaft) just due to the solid hit. My lucasi has a softer hit. It seems like my Lucasi with a medium tip produces more english however more-so then the Bushka Replica I have (Gb-3) which has a hard tip.

However sometimes I feel the bushka applies english better. So really its strange. I don't know which is better softer hit or harder hit. I like having both though because sometimes I just feel like playing with a solid hit cue and sometimes with a soft hit cue.

So if you like a well made, beautiful cue that has a SOLID hit (no vibration at all, well weighted and balanced) get the bushka.

If you like a lighter feeling cue, softer hit but very accurate (LD shaft) get the lucasi hybrid.

I brought the hybrid in this post just because its the 2nd cue I use and compare the $600 bushka replica to

I had a GB-23 for a while. It was an excellent cue. I couldn't find a single flaw with it actually, and it played super nice. I really wish I had held on to it.

I play at home with a GB-21 witha 30" predator shaft. It has a solid hit, But when I play on at pool halls with a fast felt I take my Schon SL-17. It lighter and better ball control. Just my 2 cents

I think is does no justice to use his name in another line of cues, I think it shows no respect unless it was his kids that are now hand making cues.

I wouldn't buy it for that fact.

Look how companies want to make Minnesota Fats cues, they are cheapo junk, what a disgrace to the name and legend.

There are also Steve Mizerak cues, they are also cheapo junk.
I wouldn't let someone use my name on that junk, unless they paid me
very very well and I was going to hide from the public forever.

I just wouldn't buy one. It's just a legalized fake in my opinion.

I will admit though, Earl or Efren would still kick my butt with any of the above cues, so maybe you to, can be a world champion with one of those cues, or (caugh caugh) a Cuetec.
