Actually that cues wrap is walnut with black spec. I shot Billy a pic of how I re-wrapped a cue I got from his Washington dealer on 10-05, and he liked the wrap enough to change from the original brown with white spec wrap that he used to put on cues of these type wood colors.

It is also IMHO that Billy Webb is another cue maker flying under the radar with cues that are presently grossly underpriced for the quality of workmanship. When craig tells you the veneers are tight and perfect, I would go further and say the hand cut points are as close to even as handcut points on cues I have costing thousands more.

I guess it could be a type of wood or color. Intresting...Maybe Danny can help us out here.

Walnut is in the family of brown colors. The difference is that Walnut has a hue from the family of red/yellow/orange colors that brings out the colors of the woods in the case of this cue where plain brown actually mutes or diminishes the beauty of the woods IMO.

This thread is supposed to be about Craig selling a cue, and my input was intended to offer testimony to the fact that a Billy Webb cue is a bargain at the price it is being offered. Now that you understand the difference in wrap colors, are either of you buyers?

Are you a buyer Richard? If not then I have as much right to ask questions as you? Don't you agree?

I buy from Craig.
Now that your question is answered, I hope you are intelligent enough to take adavantage of Craigs' exceptional pricing.

I don't care for the radial pin. I like the same type that Mike Erwin has on his cues.

Hello, these cues do not have a Radial Pin:confused: . They do however, have a 3/8-10 Pin:D . The last Mike Erwin cue I sold had a 5/16-18 pin the same as a Meucci, I am unaware at this time of any other custom cue makers other than Erwin who use this Pin. Most cues that use a 5/16-18 pin as a standard pin are either Asian Import cues or production cues, not custom cues.

Thanks for your input:)

Link shows a radial pin joint. Although you seem very knowlegable on cue collecting I doubt you know every custom cue maker in the world. I do like Mike Erwin cues. I have a few and just sold one to your azer buddy.

Hello Ted Harris, Billy told me about his dealings with you. Ted start you own thread, put some of your cues up for sale, I would like to see them. Ted, I am glad to here that you received the Ivory Billy sent, the mail can be a pain sometimes. Ted what Link are you reffering to, that shows a Radial Pin? Oh and by the way Ted, your right I do not every custom cue maker in the world, but what custom cue makers do you know that use 5/16-18 pins as thier standard pin?

If I'm not mistaken, Huebler also uses the 5/16x18 pin standard on their cues.

Hello Craig,

I believe this is not Ted Harris as this person states he sold me an Erwin on ebay. The only Erwin I ever bought was a grossly mis-represented P.O.S. resulting in a paypal dispute where the seller appealed their case twice, and lost their appeal both times.

This same person PM'd me on this site claiming he wanted to buy the Erwin. Based on the mis-representation by this person on many counts, I for one would not want to be involved with anything this person had for sale, nor would I sell this person anything unless the funds were verified up front prior to shipment.

Craig, I know you are an honest seller, and quite frankly you don't need or want this persons' business IMO.

Danny
