didn't icon post that scruggs a few weeks ago, or are these peepers lying to my marshmellow brain? i distinctly remember other posters playing with themselves about it.

with respect.... i can't believe the premium price that everyone wants for simply inlayed b. szamboti cues. the cue that is on the cornerstores site is a very plain cue as far as workmanship goes and should not, in my opinion, be priced any where near the price on the site. don't get me wrong i believe in a markup for cues that are hard to get but there's a limit. for that money i could have keith josey, john showman, joel hercek, bill shick, pete tascarella, denis searing, ernie gutierrez among many others make cues relatively quickly that would make this cue seem like a first timer made it. i think what realy gets me is i remember when gus focused on the player and not the money. the price for his cues only skyrocketed when he passed away. now all of the "cue vultures" ( no disrespect to cue sellers ) are out and playing off the legacy of a master. don't take this the wrong way i know barry makes a hell of a cue and i'm sorry if i sound bitter but there are many cue makers out there that build cues that make people's jaws drop and those cue makers are the ones that should first recieve the spoils. whew!..ok i got it all out of me and i feel better.

Barrys cues sell on the secondary market at almost double of what they sell fron him, and i like his cues enough to spend a premium on the second hand market,just to have them on my site.also joel hercek and ernie guterriz and jerry mcworter cues all sell higher on the second market! but alot of people want them now! and if thats so you have to pay.or get it from the maker If you can and hope its all you wished for!skins said:
