I just picked up the cue below at the DCC from Travis Niklich of Blackcreek Custom Cues. This cue is going to our own lenoxmjs. I could not get the forearm picture large enough to see the detail in the veneers. There are 7 veneers counting the accent veneers. The picture of the forearm does the cue no justice. If anyone would like to see detailed pics of the forearm, send me an email and I will reply with the pics. The cue also has a split real lizard wrap that is separated by another ivory and silver ring combination that is not pictured below.

Enjoy Matt, it is a drop dead gorgeous cue. Matt and I collaborated on the design and Travis executed it to perfection.

Thanks for posting the pic's. I'll add a couple full length shots when the cue gets here on Wednesday. Jamie has assured me that this thing is just awsome in person and Travis just keeps pulling better and better cues out of the woodwork. I've already got a few ideas brewing for my next design. I can't wait to hit some balls with this stick. Jamie has already assured me it is one sweet shooting stick. Travis is top notch. Thanks to all.

Beautiful cue! I really like those accent or "paper" veneers. I have seen Ron Haley use these as well as some recent Chris Nitti cues. Nice job Travis.

Very nice work. Every time i see one of Travis's cues posted here they get better and better. I took my Blackcreek with me to play in a comp last week. After a few practice racks i remembered how well the cue hits and i actually ended up winning the whole thing!!

Here is another cue I picked up from Travis at the DCC. It will be posted to the website in the next week.

Jamie, I saw this cue in person @ the DCC and it was extremely nice. Travis' stuff continually gets better. Enjoyed our conversations in Louisville. Take care and we'll talk, soon.

That is one beautiful cue. I love the ebony on ebony with ivory, can't beat that look. I bet it will play great as well-

That's a great looking Blackcreek cue and I know that you'll enjoy the cue.

Travis showed me these cues at the DCC and the pictures do not due them justice at all. Absolutely great work.

I guess that quite a few people at DCC saw these and were very impressed with the workmanship. As you know the first cue is mine but the second cue is a cue that Travis made and was his representitive cue in the cue builders symposium. This is my third Blackcreek and I love each one a little more. I also heard rumor that there is a chance my cue could be featured in a future article on Travis. That would be really cool. Now if Jamie and Travis can stop showing my cue around and give it to the Postmaster I might get to see it firsthand:D

Does Travis have a web site for his cues or do you just call him to order a cue?

Travis does not have a website. You can call me to place an order if you would like.

Thanks,

I got the cue on Wednesday and have to say that it plays like a dream. The hit is nice and stiff and Travis's new taper on the shaft it really a great thing. The other thing I noticed about the cue is just how nice the finish is on the cue . It has a really deep luster about it like pools of liquid ebony. I highly suggest you all get in line with your order because his list is growing fast and for the quality vs the $ It's a no brainer.
