We have been doing some fine tunning to get the carraige and crossslide ready for our lathe all the lathes will have this setup already on the lathe
so when and if you update to the taper bar just bolt it on and go we did some internal tuning and twiking to make this even better work smoother
and more accurate will down the road offer the whole assembly for sale to upgrade existing dovetail lathes i did test this out today and it works like a charm smooth and easy enjoy the pictures i will have a working lathe with taper bar at the derby this machine will have a few bells and whistles not offered on the standard lathes hope to see everyone there

the dove tail is the same so i would have to say yes you have to adpat a bearing block front and rear for the lead screw we use navel bronze bushings with grease certs and thust bearings hope that answers your question the best i can but with any add on there may be little adjustments that have to be made

Thanks Lee.....you answered my question....you make some quality products.....I am sure when I get my new lathe....we will be doing more buisiness.....Thanks for sending the items out to me by the way!
