My new Scruggs arrived a few days ago. Please forgive the quality of the pictures, they don't do the cue justice.
4 coco points into birdsey with a slotted diamond and 2 dots in each point.
4 veneers clear maple, maroon, orange, and black
leather wrap
hoppe ring, bumperless
coco buttsleeve with 4 slotted diamonds with dots around them.
ivory joint with rings above and below
ivory ferrules wit Kamuie black soft tips

The cue really looks great (I wish I took better pics) and as you would expect from a Scruggs plays great as well.

NOW THAT IS A TREASURE!!SCRUGGS and all that means, top qulity work and close to,if not the best hitting cue in the world.

Never have seen one that didn't play good.Thats why I tried to buy yours,I like the designs, old school. Not a tribute, the real thing

Dean

I freaking love it!

Did you have an oppertunity to ask for the new tappered shafts that Timi does now? Wow! You will understand why I like your cue so much when you see mine! It is almost a sister cue to yours.
That bumperless buttcap is beautiful. I have never seen that done on one of Timi's cues before.
Is your ivory joint radial pinned or piloted?
Congradulations,
Fellow Scruggs lover,
Nick :)

I just let Tim do whatever taper he wanted to. I didn't realize he'd made a change in his taper, I'll have to ask him what he did. All I know for sure is it plays nice the way he did it.
The joint is radial pin.

I thought so!

This cue may be a first. That polished bolt in the butt is sweet. Be sure to use protection. I am a fan of this look. It is a new look on Timi's cues for sure.
This is a special cue!
Nick :)

That's a great looking cue, simple and classic. Very nice.

Does Tim do Ivory piloted joints now? The new cues I've seen from him with ivory joints all seem to be the radial joints. Just curious.

Also, can you explain a bit more on Tim's 'new' taper he's using on his shafts? Is that all shafts, or do you have to ask for it? Thanks.
