New Contemporary Tim Scruggs cue

I wanted something contemporary,
not classical as most Tim Scruggs cues.
The design and materials are what I wanted for good
contrast. Dark Gabon Ebony (cored, of course) with
Ivory points seems to be 'in'.
Red Coral gives a good separation between Ebony
and Ivory, and the touch of silver gives the
design 'glitter'. All that is white is Ivory.

I'am very happy with the way the cue turned out, and
thankfull to Tim Scruggs and Mike Cochran for their efforts.

Hope you enjoy the photographs of my new cue.

i never would have guessed it's a scruggs.

you tied in all the design elements nicely. good job by you and tim...

very very sharp...................at first glance you wouldnt think its a TS

Timmie showed me that cue in July while I was picking up my new one. Those are excellent pictures, but I have to say it looks even better in person.
Nice cue!

Love it!!

Will you ever shoot with it or will it remain virgin? It sure is nice having a bunch of friends like you guys!

Nice Cue!

Beautiful design an possibly looks like different shaft taper an ferrule length for a Scruggs. NICE CUE

Your are right... The taper is the same as the Tim Scruggs "Phantom" cue, and I have used 1/2' Short Ivory Ferrules. JP:)

Tim and Mike wanted me to use a Black Lizard wrap, but my favorite is Black with Red speck Linen. In person, is gives the Red Coral a jump in contrast.

What a classy and elegant design! I have a soft spot for floating points and that's my favorite color combo. I especially like the silver in the points, they're just gorgeous.

I for one am happy to see you go with the linen. I have a new custom due in a couple of weeks and am not doing leather on it. It will have black with rust specks linen.

Can't wait for the comments "nice, but you should have . . . . ." :p

Scruggs cue....

I, personally, don't care for floating points at all..........

....or, at least I didn't.........

....then this cue came along!!! Gorgeous piece of work you have there, sir. Sharp, unique looking cue, great color combo, and I DO like the linen wrap (I'm a 50-50 split between linen and leather). I think the red flecks really add that extra "something" to the cue.

Congrats....nice pick-up!!

Very nice, and you are correct that it is not a typical Scruggs. I had an older atypical Scruggs with floating points, but unlike this one, there was not much interest in it. Hope he doesn't ruin its uniqueness for you by making 50 others just like it!! I too like the linen.
