New cue design, which one should I pick?

I have designed two cues, and can't decide which one I like better, and I certainly cannot afford both.
-------> Revision I added a third cue on Post #10
pretty sure that is the route I am going to go
Curious as to your thoughts

I'd say put an elephant ear wrap on cue #2 and a
Piloted 5-16/14 ivory over stainless joint with a nice tight compression fit
And 2 old growth shafts..........that'll do ya right.

Wrapless. In part it just looks nicer overall to me, but I also hate the wrap on the first one...those white/black lizard wraps like that are just guady to my eye.

I don't actually like wrapless cues though....take that second one, put on a white/black linen wrap, and that would be my type of cue!

I prefer the design of the first cue, although I'd use the forearm wood (Cocobolo?) in the handle section also. (I like wrapless). I'm not a fan of hi-lo points because the design looks too busy.

I think I have decided on a final version

only would look right with recuts though... not veneers
which makes me worry about what this thing will cost... EEK

Neither Cue Design Quite Cuts It.......However.......

Don't care for either design as is, not that this matters to you.
But there is potential to do a composite but the cue has to be BEM.

Go with Cue #1 but add veneers to the forearm.....it looks blah without.
And lose the awful wrap on cue #1 and go with a nicer leather wrap (elephant)

Junk the butt sleeve design on Cue #1. Use the butt sleeve design of #cue 2 on Cue #1,
especially the rings from #2. But the rings in the sleeve need to be symmetrical. The bottom
rings in Cue #2 is double stacked with ivory sandwiched between but the top ring is a single.
Make the rings in cue #2's sleeve both double stacked with ivory between and use that design
for cue #1's butt sleeve. And change the box veneers in the sleeve to boxed ivory with inlays inside.

Lastly make sure the joint is flat ivory with big pin and of course, ivory ferrules. Make these changes
and I think you'll have a doozy of a pool cue.

The first cue was going to be made by Schon

the second cue had several potential makers... but for my latest edition, I have the following in mind:

Corey Barnhart; Robert Harris: Leon Sly; Travis from BlackCreek

Is there anyone else you think I should consider based on the design?

Oh... I definitely forgot...

Ariel Carmeli is pretty high on the list of who would knock this out of the park, but I am not sure what his cues cost, as I don't see them all that often

Harris is making some nice looking cues here lately and if I was going to get a new cue it would be from him.

Harris or Sly could probably nail that cue though.

I don't like metal ringwork and too often, cuemakers don't do it right to be reliable over time. So while I like the first one the best, I can't vote for either one.

I'm glad I'm not the only one. I have a "no metal rings" rule in my customs.
