Neither Cue Design Quite Cuts It.......However.......
Don't care for either design as is, not that this matters to you.
But there is potential to do a composite but the cue has to be BEM.
Go with Cue #1 but add veneers to the forearm.....it looks blah without.
And lose the awful wrap on cue #1 and go with a nicer leather wrap (elephant)
Junk the butt sleeve design on Cue #1. Use the butt sleeve design of #cue 2 on Cue #1,
especially the rings from #2. But the rings in the sleeve need to be symmetrical. The bottom
rings in Cue #2 is double stacked with ivory sandwiched between but the top ring is a single.
Make the rings in cue #2's sleeve both double stacked with ivory between and use that design
for cue #1's butt sleeve. And change the box veneers in the sleeve to boxed ivory with inlays inside.
Lastly make sure the joint is flat ivory with big pin and of course, ivory ferrules. Make these changes
and I think you'll have a doozy of a pool cue.
