Robby Tims from Lubbock, Texas made this cue and I might have overpaid for it but I absolutely loved it. I love everything about. The ringwork, woods, and use of natural phenolic. Well I can't take too good of pictures due to my crappy camera, but hopefully you get the idea. SO what do you guys think? I paid 500 for the cue with 2 shafts. I might have spent too much but I just fell in love with this cue.

OH and needless to say, the biggest reason why I bought it was because it plays so good. I'm not going to say it is the best hitting cue I've ever owned, but I love the way this cue plays.

Does he have a website Tony? I use to live in Lubbock...

No he doesn't I don't think..... but he's at most big events in Texas. He's a super cool guy. Always ready to make an even trade. He doesn't look to poke your eyes out like most other dealers. Well anyway, I'll see if I can get a card or something. Are you coming down to the next Fast eddies tour stop?

Tony $500 is not an unreasonable price for a custom cue with 2 shafts. Good looking cue. CB.

By all means I don't think it's unreasonable. But if you know me, than you know I really don't like to pay for alot of cues. :p especially new cuemakers. But this one really impressed me. And I'm really tough to impress. I think I paid for the cue at about the right price. I wouldn't sell this cue right away, but then again, I know how I am. :D Well Thanks for the compliment on my new cue.

That Cue Is Very Sharp. The Figure In All The Woods Is Exceptional. The Price Isn't Out Of Line Either, Maybe More Than I Would Have Spent, But It's All In The Eye Of The Beholder.

That's what I thought too until I hit some balls with it. I honestly wouldn't have spent more than 300 for the cue until I hit balls with it and saw it's true beauty. Well, I like it. :D

With the prices some makers are charging for cues that don't look as good as that one and that one hits as good as you say, I think you got a deal.

As far as new cue makers go, everyone started somewhere. :)

Some very sharp-looking wood, two shafts...and plays great. I think 500 is a good price.

Tony, that cue has nice looking woods. If you like how it plays for you, I think you got a real square deal. That cue would be at least $700.00 from a better known cuemaker.

I understand that fully, but new cuemakers get the bad end of the deal sometimes because they are new, and have tiny flaws. I think the cue is worth every penny plus more but, if I were to put it on the for sale forum.....How much do you guys honestly think it will bring? 3-350 maybe 4 if I get lucky. It's just the way it goes I guess. But I think I made a good buy because I can see the cue in front of me.

yo man i think you got a fair price on it. in my opinion if it looks that nice and plays good than 500's a bargan. if the cue plays well and looks as good as yours than you deffinetly got a good deal. if you were patient you could probably get what you paid for it if you needed to sell it

I know I wouldn't let it go for less than what I have in it unless something happens to it. Than I guess I have to take the hit. Well, I do like this cue, but I'm just saying that new cuemakers are getting the shaft. I bought the cue for 3 reasons. Looks, playability, and the cuemaker himself. He was such a cool guy. I think new cuemakers need to sell cheap to get a few cues out there, but I don't think they should undersell their product. I think I paid a fair price for this cue. Well, I hope you guys enjoy it.

do you think you could post some other pictures of the cuemakers cues. if they look as nice as the one you have i might be interested

No, sorry I don't have any. He is a cue dealer...., But he makes sneakies and plain janes on the side. Well, I know is his name and where he's from.

Cue

The beauty of some woods together just really catch your eye ... You got a good deal, especially since you got 2 shafts. Personally, I think what you paid is about the top limit for a cue without points or inlays for me, no matter who made it.

Your cue is nice. Has a nice look to it.

If you love it, then the price is good.
