New Cuetec Cues?

has Cuetec got some new cues out? was looking through my latest Pool & Billiard magazine tonight, thought i saw some advertised that i've never seen before.

They have been running that TV commercial with Allison, about some new
Cues, Thunder something and one other, with some kind of Graphite insert in the Shaft. Dont bother asking Cuetecs customer service for help, they are just awful to deal with. They never answer questions on the site BB.
They never return e-mails, and I finally called them, and got some frickin retard on the phone and gave up.:mad: :mad: :mad:
 
Where's the WEI table and the story of the blown runout??? :confused:

J/K. If you really want to know about cuetec's product line. Ask Travis Trotter. He seems to have an affinity for cuetec that goes well beyond normal.
 
I like my 314s, but I have shot with a new Cutec (either X or cylinder, don't know) and I really liked the feel.
 
While we're on the subject

There seems to be a vile disgust among players for Cuetechs that almost makes me like them more.

Is there a more hated and disrespected cue? (Not that they don't deserve some of it)

I can hear it now,

"What!!!, you just got beat by a guy with a cutech?"
 
I won an 8 ball tourney that had 38 players in it. Many of them had predators and others had custom cues. I laid them to waste with my earl strickland signiture cuetec. I call it my asshole cue.
 
I break with a cuetec python, which I got for free, and it hits like a monster. Fiberglass shaft with a graphite truss. I can't play with it though because I detest the feel of the fiberglass shaft. It's especially bad in the summer when it's humid. The slightest tackiness on your hand and it grabs bad. Do they make some sort of lube to smooth it out? Travis??? Dr Cue Proto? anybody??
I'll also add that everyone who has ever shot or broke with it liked it.

I have a cuetec, that is for all intensive purposes, a total piece of junk.

Doesn't affect my game at all.

When someone asks what it is, i say a piece of junk, but the fact is that junk or not, i still play at a high level with it.

Just like that piece of firewood that Efren played with when he first came here, and just like that no name cheapie cue that with the swirl-grey plastic butt that Alcano used when he first came here.
They were NOT the pruducts of superb engineering. They were just so-so cues, who the owners just happened to play jam up with.

Someone mean to tell me that Earl and Allison stink?

It's not the cue, it's the people pulling the trigger.
