I have been working on many differnt things to make "The Decider" sponsored by Shellie's Country Cafe and The Fraternal Order of Eagles a great event and have some new details for those who are intersted. First I have to say I am amazed at the positive response I have received over the past week, I have had many emails asking about buying tickets to the actual event in advance. These emails are from all over the country and also from Canada. Although the general admission tickets will not be on sale until the day of the event I am working on selling VIP seats only and I should be able to take payment very soon on those. I have started a list of people who have told me that they want to buy VIP seats as soon as they go on sale and anyone on that list will be contacted first. I still need to get a better idea of how many will actually be available and at this point I have 25 on that list. VIP seat will be $50.00 for the weekend and guarentee a seat each day of the event up from with a table. Obviously these will not last long it seems so if you would like to be on the list please email me at cantrillmark@yahoo.com

I am also working with a local hotel to get a special room rate for our spectators who are coming from out of town. More details on that when it happens

We have a couple of additional sponsors I would like to mention and thank for their continued support First off AZBilliards.com Since the first time I met these guys I have had a really good relationship with them, they are always willing to give he help and advice and support. Also on board are Str8-Shots, These guys do so much more the Juniors and the BEF behind the scenes and I have also supported The Legends and Champions events whenever asked. Finally Kamui Chalk, This is the first time I have been associated with Kamui but they are doing something very special for this event and I will explain what they are doing later in this thread.

On to the PPV, and the match times etc.

Friday Aug 2nd - 6.00pm (Mountain time) - 9-Ball - Race to 30

Saturday Aug 3rd 2..00pm (MT) -8-Ball - Race to 30

Sunday Aug 4th 2.00pm (MT) - 10-Ball - Race to 30

The PPV will be produced and brought to you by POV Pool and available at www.povpool.com and the prices are as follows.

Three day pass = $35.00

Daily pass = $15.00

Saturday & Sunday only pass = $25.00

Here is where Kamui come in POV Pool will be making an announcement as to when they will be putting the PPV on sale and the first 100 people to purchase the three day pass will receive a Kamui Tip voucher good for any Kamui brand tip including the new Kamui Clear which retails at $30.00. So thanks to Kamui and we think thats a great incentive to buy the three day pass.

Finally the match itself, There has been some talk about my scoring system that I thought was a good idea but as with alot of my ideas I seem to be the only one who believes it. Therfore after getting feed back from the AZB community I am going to change the Scoring system., The prize fund is $4,500 and so we will do $1,500 per set. There will obviously only be one winner of "The Decider" but this gives the players something to play for regardless on the day 3 10-Ball.

As new info comes to light I will share it with everyone and I am sorry that this thread is a little long it wasn't supposed to be but I guess there was alot to tell. Feel free to let me know if you have any questions. Thganks again to everyone for their support and please pass on the info. Here is the flyer for the event the info may be old but the flyers is not post on your social media if you could to help us with this event.

Love the write up on the AzBilliards link. How cool is that!

Those posters are neat, Mark. You should have a raffle for an autographed one.

Shellie's Country Cafe sounds divine!

Looking forward to reading all about it!

Flyer for "The Decider"

I've made this flyer with some pertinent info on the event.

The event times reflect Pacific Standard & Mountain Time Zone.

Donn Espinoza of Pool-Trax will be providing real-time player stats and performance ratings.

JAM, Shellie's Country Cafe have awesome food. They do a little of everything but I personally like the breakfast. It's the same place that Darren Appleton won the food eating Challenge by finishing off their famous "Holy Cow" Chicken fried steak. Thanks for the support JAM.

Great to hear the response has been so positive.

Do you know when and where Kamui will make their announcement? That's a sweet offer they're making!

I like the weekend start times that are earlier than usual. Sometimes I don't like consuming weekend nights watching pool at home. I can watch and then head out to the pool hall now!

Looking forward to it!

KK9, I am not sure if Kamui will be making an announcement but its possible they will between now and the time the PPV go on sale. POV Pool will probably bve making one soon too since they are the ones really being sponsored by Kamui. Glad the times work out for you as I planned around your social life :)

Tickets and Pay Per View

It's going to be a crowded door at the Eagle's Lodge handing out those tickets!

The LIVE STREAM Pay Per View tickets should be available for sale around the end of June to the start of July sometime.

Stay tuned for more info on this as it develops and follow the thread/s.

This will be an awesome show with some new and exciting changes to the stream itself! I would like to thank supporters of past POV Pool streams to help get the word out on this show. With Kamui's offer to the first 100 viewers purchase the 3-day subscription, we thank you.

Mark Cantrill shows to be a true professional. I'm also looking forward to working with Earl Strickland for the first time.

Donn Espinoza will be providing 'Pool-Trax' player stats and performance ratings in real time for this as well!

The West Coast Swing is happening this year!
Please stay tuned to the 'West Coast Swing' update on www.povpool.com as well. There are a host of free povpool streams and here are most of the dates. You can get most of your POV Pool updates from those streams during commentary and questions from chat.
