Hi everyone,

I wanted to give the heads up on a new Online magazine. It is called the Ultimate Pool Player. You can all critique my writing. I have a little column that I will be writing each month. Let me know what you think.

Good Article Sarah

I just checked the new web page, and it is pretty cool. Your article on the mental aspect of playing as an underdog, or a favorite, was well written and full of good advice. I hope the web page will be a success, as I really like the coverage they gave to a lower-level tournament. I would like to see a website that covers the state level tournaments in this detail, as this is the level that most of us play at. I would even like to see a top ten list of amateur players in each state. That would be quite an undertaking, I know, but it is done in so many of the other sports where there is a centralized authority governing the athletes. Maybe one day the APA, BCA, and TAP (am I forgetting someone?) will duke it out for nationwide authority in the amateur game. Aaahhh,....yes. I am a dreamer (smile). By the way, my son and I missed you at the Jr. Nationals. Hope to see you some other time though. Regards and Best of Luck with your Game. Rod.

Wally...I'm sure one of these days someone will come up with something clever and it will stick.

Krypto...I'm glad you thought the article was good. That is my first try at anything like that so hopefully they will improve with time. I'm sorry I missed you and your son at Jr. Nationals. I had a last minute change of plans and couldn't make it. Hopefully we will get a chance to meet at another tournament. Don't worry, someday things will not be so complicated in the pool world...at least I hope.

For this being your first attempt at writing a column, you did really well. The mental part of pool, or any other sport, is a very interesting topic. But your Dad is correct, it is you & the table. Keep up the great writing & hope you are enjoying your summer.

I liked the article. It was very interesting to me, since I am constantly winning when I shouldn`t, and losing when I should win.

Steve...I remember just a few years ago I couldn't wait for summer to come. Now that it is a summer break from pool I can't wait for it to be over!
