New England Women

Wow, based on the thread title, it sounded like a really interesting, and possibly NPR, thread. Guess you mean New England women in pool, Joe.

Ok, seriously, Samantha Barrett is a good friend, and I'm really happy for her. Well played!

I'm sure your knowledge put her head on the right path bro. Most people don't get that insight early on and head down the dead end path, you opened her eyes.

It's a simple decision to take action ;) but lets not wait another 50yrs.
The PBA Women’s Regional Tour was created to provide women bowlers with opportunities to compete against other women in the same kind of affordable, close-to-home tournament structure that has given thousands of male bowlers an opportunity to develop their skills since the PBA introduced its regional program 1969. As part of the women’s program, the PBA created a new “PBA Challenge” event as part of the GEICO PBA World Series of Bowling VI that provided eight women’s regional points leaders paid entries into the World Series plus a special event leading to an ESPN television appearance for the top two women after a qualifying event held at WSOB VI.

Thanks Joe, but the reality is I had little to no influence on her game. Her mentor (Al Holmes) was my inspiration as well. My only influence I suppose is that I got her interested in playing other regional events (Super Billiards Expo) and to spread her wings.

Freddie <~~~ just in case she's reading :)

Joe: what is that thing in your avatar? Difficult to see on my phone.

That's Joe's Third Eye Trainer, which sadly isn't available any more. I'd sure like to try one.

I've thought about trying to make one but I don't have a template to work from.
