Thanks, Chris, class act, Mike and cranegod. I am still several years away on Joel's list, but am satisfying my craving with secondary market cues.TATE said:Nice one Scott. I'm still waiting for mine from Joel.

Barring a disaster, this one stays in the permanent collection.alpine9430 said:Awesome looking cue that has made it around through different owners. I remember seeing the cue at VF this past spring when CueAddicts had it on display. Hopefully she has a permanent home now.

Trust me when I say it's truly my pleasure to serve this great nation. God has already given me my blessing in my beautiful wife of 16 years.
If I were you, I wouldn't taunt too many men in uniform. There have been a few people try that, and it didn't end too well.
That's a gorgeous Hercek. Do you have any idea of what he would charge for a cue like that?
Jim
I feel bad that my initial post about servicemen and women only mentioned Jim. I want to add that my sentiments apply to Mark and all of the people, past and present, who serve our country in all of the branches of the military.8-ball Rat said:Jim - From one serviceman to another.....give 'em hell!!!![]()
Scott - GORGEOUS cue, sir. That thing is a real stunner. I think I only have 5 more years to wait for mine!!
Jim, I have not asked Joel about the current cost on this cue, but I will for insurance purposes. In the past he has always been totally open about pricing and I'm sure he would tell you exactly what he would charge at today's rates.jhendri2 said:Scott,

Well, I just bought my megamillions lottery ticket....so if my number comes up, I'll pay for yours AND mine!ScottR said:Thanks! 5 years, huh? We may fall into the same year.
Ah the times. You have brought me back in time. Playing pool at Ames and Julians, drinking beer at McSorleys (right across the street of where I went to school) and later serving my country about the same time you mentioned (I am a vet of the Vietnam era in the mid 70's). I too want to add my sentiments to all the service personnel, past, present and future....Thanks to all.ScottR said:I feel bad that my initial post about servicemen and women only mentioned Jim. I fell in those mid-70's "gray" years where no draft took place and Viet Nam was winding down (and the military was reducing its ranks). As a result, I never served.
I hope this is taken in the right way from a non-military person.... I salute you all.
tap, tap, tap....The cue comes 2nd, but it is a nice one..Did you do the forearmScottR said:I feel bad that my initial post about servicemen and women only mentioned Jim.
