New High Run

OK, not my High Run.

My 9yo has been playing on & off for a little over a year, but more focused in the last 2 months.
He's got a height proportional cue of 48".

I introduced him to Straight Pool tonight. On our first rack he ran 7 balls (yes, in a row).
Granted I coached him a little bit on ball selection and how to get the position, but he executed himself.
He got out of line a little bit, but was able to improvise and move forward. I'm so proud of him.

It can honestly be said my son's high run from tonight is greater than what Sigel's was during his first game of Straight Pool vs. Earl Strickland
in the Living Legends Challenge, LOL.
He's coming for you Earl! ;)

Awesome, future champion !

You can ask him to put his right foot closer to the table, lined up with the shot line.

Allowing him to have his little body closer to the table, and more stability.

Congrats to your son and also to you for your guidance. You might want to post this on the 14.1 Forum. I’m sure the players there would enjoy your story.

Excellent! Keep up the training, and soon enough he'll be clearing racks.
