I've used for joint and buttcap, I would suggest putting a thin phenolic ring on the end of the buttcap as I have had it chip when cutting with my router. Haven't had a problem as joint material at all.

I had a sample piece sent to me, it cuts nice and I used it for a joint on a plain jane. I will be getting more of it when i get another batch finished. Ive been working like a rented mule and hadn't posted my 2 cents yet.
Nice , Thats the 1st stuff I bought , not the sample you sent .
ya, the sample you just received is arvorin II which grain is less, but heavy.
