So far this new Joss Custom Cue is proving very capable. I'm making some shots and running a few racks of 9-Ball last night and tonight. I'm still hosing some up but I definitely like what I am experiencing so far.

I don't remember if you said what shaft you got. Standard or high performance? Diameter?

What can you say about the taper/action/deflection, etc?

Standard shaft for me. I agree with Nick Varner, high performance and LD shafts are gimmicks in my book.

12.75 with the gradual taper. 3-4 inches down its 12.85. Another 3-4 inches and its 13.0. Another 3-4 inches and its 13.1.

So far I think this standard shaft doesn't quite squirt/deflect all that much. I'll have to shoot some inside English shots and get back to you on that one.

Anyway, running some racks with this cue on 4.25 inch pockets is a good thing.
