Okura cue tips is a small, but quality focused laminated tip maker in Japan. We consider our tips comparable, or even better to Moori’s in quality and play. As a small manufacturer, we strive to offer a high quality, durable tip at reasonable prices. They are available in soft, medium, and hard.

I am the exclusive US distributer of these tips. Sales to individual players, cue makers, and retailers are welcome.

Thanks Az Billiard forums for the board!

They sound interesting, but you have them priced 20% higher than what I can buy Moori III tips for from Atlas ?

As I am a retailer and distributer, the pricing reflects the desire to move more towards distribution, and not to take away business from any retailer (or potential retailer) of our tips.
If you like Mooris better than our tips, then the decision is easy. If you like Okuras better, than I think it is worth it. The price per tip is discounted with higher volume orders (5, 10, 20, 50 tips), so if you want a quote, you can always email me. :)

It would be very wise to give 10-20 tips or so for free to Leonard Bludworth and allow him to then get feedback on the tips from his customers. He is a long time member of this very forum and posts alot and I am sure would be willing to let the board know if these tips are as good as you say. Moori are a known product with a long past and big name, your tips are not and you cannot expect people to pay more then they can get a moori for on a chance that maybe it might be better, which is a pretty steep claim.

Your tips might be good, they might actually be worth the money and better then Moori, you better market them better though and get some of them out there so word of mouth can do it's thing and that is not going to happen selling the things for premium prices right off the hop. You need to get the product out there in the hands of the people first and make them see what you have and relize how good they are and THEN you can end the initial period of samples and such and charge your premium if the tips truely do become a very popular product amoung the players.

Anyone recall hearing similar spin about Kamui tips?

Good to see you had a sample run, unfortunate that AZBilliards was not informed, you would have got swamped with requests. Pretty decent reviews for such a new product, best of luck and if I ever see one of your tips around I may give one a shot.

Unfortunately, I just stumbled on AZ a few days ago. I am distributing samples to dealers/cue makers, so they may post reveiws here. Stay tuned :)
