Nice new toy! Is it going downstairs in the basement or up stairs in the barn?

everythings in the barn now, trust me i know its going to be a pain to move.

ive been wanting a good metal lathe for a while and this was priced decent, all i need now is a tool post, tooling, centers, rear chuck and maybe a better front chuck as well lol

the more stuff i buy the longer my list gets

30" may be a little short if you are going to cut a whole cue between centers. Do you have another lathe or tablesaw for that?

yes i do this lathe wont be used between centers for tapering.

i have table saw tapering machine for that.

this is going to be mainly for asssembly, and joint pins

Naw it won't be a pain to move, There is a fourm member that is moving a 17"X80" into his shop this weekend. Now that is a pain to move!

That list sure gets longer! "Welcome to the addiction". Think I have seen that somewhere before.

Tell us more about the lathe. Atlas? How old? 3 phase?
