That's a nice design reminds me of an old D series McDermott. What kind of wood is that, tropical hardwood etc?

Jim...looks great. I have some madrone that i have already taken to round, but am hesitant to use it alone on the forearm....did you core yours...is madrone like the amb/thuya? fairly weak?
 
That looks nice, i think that could also been a gambler design.

Yes, I use only cored burls in my cues. This one is cored with rock hard maple.

Thanx Tony, I just shot the 1st coat of clear, you should see it shiny! You coming to the get together Saturday?
