Hi.

I'm new to forums and I am hoping to have some time to do some reading and learn lots from previous posts.

I've been playing as much 14.1 as possible with a friend. The game has renewed my desire to get better at pool. 14.1 requires an entirely new approach. I'm enjoying the challenge and look forward to becoming a better player.

Welcome! There is definitely a lot of knowledge here to share! Questions are always welcome!

Big welcome to AZB, and especially the 14.1 gorum, home of the Champion's game.

Here is a brief orientation that will help get you started here:

1) Garbage is collected on Mondays.

2) The showers are in the main forum, down the hall on the left.

3) Don't leave chalk upside down on the rails.

4) See Jay Helfert for you bunk assignment.

Look forward to your contributions!

You forgot one:

5) The toilets are also down the hall, but on the right, across from the Main forum. The door is marked, "Non-Pool Related." Make sure to take a can of air freshener / deodorizer in there with you, because it really stinks in there -- they don't clean it as often as they should.

:D

Excellent. Apparently I need to spread some rep around before I can hit you up again. If you don't mind, I will add this to my orientation list. If that is OK with you I will have my people send your people a 100 page release and licensing agreement.

<...laughing...>

Of course -- make it Orientation List 101.1 with the updates. No need for the release and licensing agreement, though -- the information has been GPL'ed. :D

Start slow. You are doing great so far. We have quite a few who blow through, shoot their mouths off and get banned. Avoid aiming topics. The usually start and end the same. They start with a question and end slinging insults until the typical ban and deletion.

Don't rig your videos...someone will figure it out.

Be careful on wanted/for sale. The burden is on the buyer to ask the questions which are not posted...like what length will the cue be when it arrives. Also, selling, items are generally excepted to be NIB unless you say different as the seller!

Enjoy the attitudes... Develop yours slowly!

Welcome gkotlin, hope you find what you are looking for and meet all your goal playing pool. 14.1 is a great game.
