I have a question. How long does it take before a New Member can have their threads posted for all to see?

I sent a message to each of the Mods but have had no reply.

My friend (Classicbilliard) would like to post some cues for sale.

I think it's 50 posts, or so, that get delayed/reviewed/something or other....

That's to stop the frequent times where someone gets banned, creates a new log on and comes back to create more trouble. Among other reasons.

Hmm, I believe my first post was starting a new thread. Maybe it's only certain forums here. Or maybe they just don't like you.
 
i never had a "start up" time or posts either....odd...but welcome anyway...put the cues for sale in the proper place "wanted/for sale"....

OK... Here is what I did for Paul (user name Classicbilliard).
Signed him up for an account. Did all the steps nessecary. His user name and password work.

We went to the wanted/forsale forum. I helped him create a thread to sell a couple of cues he had for sale.

When I hit submit it said the mods would have to review his post.

I sent a PM to both Jerry and Chuckle but have not received a reply.

Also when Paul logs on to his account it is still Gray.

What am I missing here.

I am an avid pool player. Maybe I have a dead cell or 2. :-)

Any help will be appreciated.

What are the Mods gonna do with the first post after they review it? My guess is that they will let it post if there's no shenanigans, or trash it if there is. How long ago did you submit that initial for-sale thread? How long ago did you send the mods PMs? The time frame isn't clear here.

All I am trying to find out is how long before Paul can post his cues for sale under his user name.

If it takes a week or 2 so be it.

I would just like to know when.

You can't be considered a "Full" member until some qualifications are met.

Read at least 60 pages of the Funny Gif thread, including at least 10 pages of bike pictures from Black Balled in that 60.

Comment about how bad or good APA rules are.

Read the PoolKiller bar rules manifesto.

Criticize someones spelling or grammar, make a spelling or grammar mistake yourself in that same post.

Start a new thread with one of the following topics: "what chalk is best" "what tip is best" "what cue hits best" "cue ID help"

Only then can you be a true member of the forums.
