This is a new Mezz Hybrid Pro II shaft for a radial pin. This shaft has been test hit a few racks only. I believe this shaft deflect less than predators and are more solid. It is a single piece of wood filled with carbon fiber. It’s a great shaft for anyone who wants to try it out. The retail price on this shaft is $285.00, I am asking $240.00 or best offer. The shaft is 12.5mm with a Moori medium tip. This shaft was handpicked from a batch by myself, but I just can’t get myself to stop using my southwest, so I am selling it.

These shafts are very expensive and their retail is on the high 300's. They play jam as well.

Was this shaft made from a blank or do Mezz sell shafts for other cues than their own? Does it fit any standard Radial Pin cue?
 
Yes, it fits the standard radial pin joint.

Craig, I don't have a micrometer on me, I put it on my capone, it fit pretty flush.
 
If it's a true Radial pin made by Uni-Loc they should have used the mandrels included which make the joint .842" if I am not mistaken, that way they are all interchangeable.

Mezz does not sell blanks. They have other joints like 5/16x18, 5/16x14, 3/8x10, United Joint, Wavy joint and radial pin are the shafts available.
Same rule of thumb for all other shafts Hybrid Alpha Shaft and WD700.This shaft being like new is at an awesome price. I can get all the other ones if you need one but if you're looking for a radial I would jump on this one in a split second.

Benfica, Yeah they don't offer blanks, those joints are the only available joint...

Then it has been reworked. Embassy147 has a direct line into Mezz Japan and Mezz doesn't do Radials (3/8x8). Mezz does Wavy (3/8x9). Two different Joint System. Mezz just recently offered 3/8x10.

Mezz only offer joints such as United (5/16x14), Wavy (3/8x9) and 3/8x10. Anything other than those are not Mezz Standard Joint system.

Understood now that it is offered by the US Dealer, but is not direct from Mezz Japan. I've always ordered the Wavy Joint and then have it reworked by a Philippine Cuemaker.

We have been asking Mezz Japan to offer blanks for a very long time, but Mezz Japan will not give in. Even the 3/8x10 Joint was just recently made available. Previously, Mezz Japan only had United(Modified 5/16x14) and Wavy(3/8x9). Even the lenght comes only in 29".
