Here are pics of my new Stacey cue.
Specs are:
8 point lt/dk rosewood into gaboon ebony forearm. Single maple veneer. Rosewood windows in the butt with single maple veneer.
JPs by Picone.
White/brown linen wrap, black phenolic collars. 3/8-10 flate faced joint.
19.0oz with the Predator Shaft
19.4oz with the Stacey Shaft
12.75mm unchalked Predator Shaft
13mm unchalked Stacey Shaft with melamine ferrule and Moori Med tip

What do you guys think?

Simple and eligant is my opinion.

That's a great looking cue Shorty. Can you tell me something about Mike Stacey - where's his shop, how long has he been making cue etc.?

I'm not Shorty but I'm gonna throw my .01 cents out


His shop is Noblesville Indiana. Thats about 15/20 mintues from Indy. I know he's been making cues for at least 7 years or so.

Good reputation around Indiana.

his cues are wonderful! and alot of bang for the buck ,I think (purdy has some nice looking new ones for sale!) pm him for picks they are beautiful :p

nice looking cue shorty! I just traded my schon for one myself...but mine is a little more colorful. hope they hit well. good luck with yours. I got mine from "roscoe" as you probably know.

Shorty may I ask a Question, as your Photos are wonderful. What Camera you using,m and what was your Light Source? Nice photo of a Tough Subject..... :)

Hey...as much as I would love to lay claim to those pics, they are not mine. Ask Sherwin Cheng. He is DA man when it comes to taking good quality cue pics!

Cue should be here tomorrow...and yeah...I could not resist this cue at all. Very simple and pretty, and I fell for the custom fitted Predator. Now if I can just sell my Rauenzahn I will be good to go.

Mike Stacey

Mike makes a great cue--I came across him on ebay a little over 2 years ago--I bought a jump break that I sold to a friend who sold it to another friend and the current owner ditched a Mike Webb, a schon and a cuetech to use the cue as his players. The second week I played with it I took first in my local 9-ball tourney. He had his own booth this year at VF, he is a very hard working cuemaker and if you want something custom made he can do it pretty reasonably. Nice stiff hit, good taper and good feedback.

Wow

This is an incredibly beautiful cue as I just got it in the mail today. It is brand new...not ever having been chalked either shaft. I can't wait to play with the Predator shaft...feels incredible. Nice and slender butt with some beautiful wood points. I am really in love with it!
