new ob shafts???

this one is thinner than 12.75mm at the end closer to 12.5mm,but i do like the hit.not mushy or soft at all like the 1 and 2 can feel.

to me it felt like a nice solid Maple shaft with low deflection.the ferrule height would take some serious getting used to.

I had a OB classic pro for a week or so that I was trying.I play with a Z2.I do have to say that i was impressed with it.They both hit very similar. If I was going to buy a new shaft I would have no problem at all picking up one.I have to say I did like it.

OB2 Schon

I purchased an OB2 and sent it to Evan to have it matched to my Schon LTD. I will have to say I have played with a lot of different styles and combination's including 314, z2 etc, etc. My point is that I have never had such a true hit and deflection is truly at a minimal. You get almost twice the result with half the effort and anyone who shoots "harder" knows the the harder you shoot the smaller the pockets get. I must however mention that I changed the standard tip (Everest) to a Sniper as soon as I received my new shaft. I wanted the slightly harder "feel" from this tip. I was averaging 8.50 in our VNEA local league and after changing to this shaft I finished out the year at 9.30. I think this is a very justifiable investment for anyone who wants to "improve" or "take their game to the next level". Additionally, I would like to get my hands on the new break shaft so we could put it into R&D right away.

IMHO>> I do not want to discredit anyone but if a cue maker with the magnitude of Schon ( trying to be non biased here) offers this shaft, when predator etc., has been in the market for many years, I think this speaks volumes in itself.
